Public meeting
- The minutes of the previous meeting were approved, and the trustees were approved by the meeting.
- Matty Murphy and John Ryan joined the Setup Committee.
- Funding and the likely categories of cost were discussed, with costs to be established properly before any commitment is made.
- It was noted that insurance should be obtainable ahead of the community company being formed, so the work can proceed in stages, and a cash-flow projection for the year ahead was agreed for presenting to the council.
- The meeting closed and those present walked down to the Reading Rooms, where all three floors were inspected.

Public meeting
- Trustees and a Setup Committee were nominated on an interim basis, to be finalised at the next meeting on 22 July; new members remained welcome to join in the meantime.
- It was agreed to seek a solicitor's advice on forming a Company Limited by Guarantee, and to make a formal request for funding towards the legal costs.
- It was agreed that the duties of a trustee would be circulated to those nominated, each to confirm whether they wished to proceed.
- It was agreed to prepare a framework for considering pitches for the use of the building, to be reviewed by the group.
